If I could give 0 stars I would; AVOID THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS.
The management is absolutely atrocious, no work orders would be completed within a 7-day period. And if you do live here, don't be surprised when they hit you with a $500+ move out fee for things that were already documented on the move-in form. I tried to contact the manager for A MONTH and got no calls back and she was always "out of the office." How convenient for a manager of an apartment complex...

Awesome New Apartments!

My husband and I just relocated to Hattiesburg, and we couldn't be happier with our choice to live at The Met!
The new management goes above and beyond to make sure we feel at home and everything is so new and nice. I love the granite counter tops and modern colors in the apartments -- not to mention the HUGE garden tub in our master bath. It feels like a spa!

There have been at least half a dozen car break ins, an AR-15 stolen from an apartment, and at least a few other apartments broken into within a month. The Met’s response has been disrespectful and nonchalant. They REFUSE TO PUT UP SECURITY CAMERAS (there are currently NONE in the elevators or hallways in ANY of the buildings) and a gate because of “an invasion of privacy.” They also have NOT INFORMED the residents about these crimes, instead we have witnessed them or spoken amongst ourselves or... to POLICE who we contact ourselves. The Met and corporate have done NOTHING to make us feel safe. You should know saving face is more important to them than making their residents feel safe. This complex is NOT SAFE, residents concerns are undermined, and any criminal activity is SWEPT UNDER THE RUG. The police can patrol only so much, but the apartment complex MUST take responsibility for their residents concerns.

This incident does not appear to be isolated as break-ins have... occurred at other communities, many of which are gated. We care very much about our residents and want them to know we hate criminals as much as they do. We will work with law enforcement to keep crime at bay. Thank you for your patience.

Zayna was very helpful. The tour of the apartment apartments was very detailed and she answered any questions me and my roommates had. Also every time I had a question I called and who ever answered help out without any problems.
