My husband and I lived at Summer West while I attended nursing school at USM. It was a clean, quiet community and the ladies in the office were always so nice and helpful. Maintenance always completed any work orders we had within a reasonable time period.

Smh
Everything is run down, they wont fix the roads or update amenities. They’re now using an app called Prisma and won’t let you pay your water bill separate anymore, so everything has to be paid at one time!

Lease terms are brutal
To get out of the lease you have to pay a fee of two months rent which is like $2000 plus you have to pay two months rent which is another $2000 plus they keep your deposit which could be another $1000 so just to end the lease you better have at least $5000 to give these people

Excellent Place to Call Home
My girlfriend and I moved into a one bedroom apartment at Summer West last year. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and continued to be so throughout our stay. When we moved in, our apartment was in excellent condition. We have only had one problem since we moved in - a small water leak from our toilet. Maintenance very quickly resolved the issue. The apartments and grounds are very well maintained. It is quiet and safe, a good fit for singles, couples, and families. We would recommend this complex to anyone seeking a home in Hattiesburg!

Great place to live!
Leased here for two years! Great service, nice apartment in good neighborhood! Close to shopping and 2 minutes or less to the interstate. Nice pool and inexpensive. I'd give it a 10 on cost/value!
